Some useful settings for Firefox, that can only be enabled/disabled through about:config:
browser.search.openintab extension.pocket.enabled beacon.enabled dom.battery.enabled
Specifically browser.search.openintab is something I always turn on. It opens a new tab when you use the search bar, instead of using the current tab.
